Grande Cache Tourism

Welcome to Greenview, the third-largest rural municipality in the province of Alberta, a municipality where landscape, services and the room to stretch combine to provide citizens and visitors with a wide range of business, cultural and recreational activities. From Meadows to Mountains describes our Greenview landscape, but it’s our people that make the difference. Whether you’re here for the night or a lifetime, you’ll find us friendly, hard-working and resourceful.

The Tourism Centre showcases the fascinating history of the area through exhibits and displays featuring ice age artifacts, dinosaur tracks, Aboriginal heritage and fur trading, full animal mounts, tree and geological descriptions and local industry. There is also the Bighorn Gallery Gift Shop, the Esson Gale Art Gallery, a large screen to show movies, and space available for meetings and conferences. Make sure to save time to tour the Bird’s Eye View Park featuring interpretive trails and gazebo style picnic areas, outside of the Centre. A replica of a “cache” along with other historic buildings is also on site.
